Vardee by Vardo
Vardee, Vardo's assistant, on WhatsApp
Vardee by Vardo is Vardee's WhatsApp number. Managers at businesses that work with Vardo use it to ask Vardee about their business, with the same permissions they have in the Vardo app.
Who the number is for
Only users who connected their WhatsApp from inside the Vardo app. A message from a number that is not connected gets an explanation of how to connect, and no information about any business. There is no agent behind the number, and it does not take calls.
How to connect
In the Vardo app, open Vardee, tap the WhatsApp button and confirm with your password. The app opens WhatsApp with a ready message containing a one-time code; send it. Connecting only works from the phone number on your Vardo profile.
What Vardee answers
Only questions about the business on Vardo: tasks, checklists, audits, reports, revenue and more, according to the user's permissions. Payroll and employees' personal details are never sent on WhatsApp, only shown in the app.
How to disconnect
Send "disconnect", or tap "Disconnect" in the app. The connection also stops on its own when you change your password or the phone number on your profile, when WhatsApp moves to another device, and when the user is no longer a manager at the business.
Your information
- What we keep: your phone number, the identifier WhatsApp attaches to it, when you connected and disconnected, and the conversation with Vardee.
- Why: to answer you on behalf of your Vardo account, and to make sure only you receive the answers. Not for marketing, and never sold.
- Who sees it: the conversation is private to you; other managers at the business cannot see it. Messages pass through WhatsApp (Meta), acting on our behalf.
- How long: the conversation is deleted 7 days after the last message. A record of connecting and disconnecting (number, date and reason, no content) is kept for a year, so we can check who was connected and when.
